- The video team built a test set roughly comparable to college-entrance-exam difficulty, with trap questions that can mislead AI models. Overseas models were led by Gemini, GPT, and Claude; domestic models by Seed and DeepSeek.
- Current AI math ability is in a contradictory state. It is good at brute-force exploration and can use powerful computation plus existing knowledge to solve complex calculation and case-analysis problems. But for math that requires pure insight, elegant intuition, and concise construction, such as extremal constructions or combinatorics, AI still struggles. Creating new mathematical theory remains very difficult for current statistical language models.

During the May Day holiday I had headaches for five or six straight days. Looking at the left side of the screen made my eye uncomfortable, with a pulsing pain behind the eye and a pulling sensation. I suspect muscle fatigue from too much screen time and staying up late. I spent almost the whole holiday lying in bed sleeping and did almost nothing. I really need to pay attention to health, eye care, and rest. It is awful when everything feels bad and sleep is the only option; soon after waking up each day, the headache would start again. From now on I want to gradually build better routines: sleep and wake on time, use my eyes scientifically, reduce screen time, go outdoors more, and eat healthier.
